Searching the right Guidance for CSS-(Part 3)

Being an important ingredient of competitive journey, proper and timely guidance cannot be neglected. A sincere guide can decrease the hardship as well as can keep students charged for the goal. I would try to explain the hurdles faced by aspirants in this regard.

You would also find the answer of the suspicion that how aspirants having any CSP in family or social circle succeed more easily as compared to the others.

At the core of the problem lies behavioral antagonism between the seekers and the mentors.

It has been observed that seniors who have been through this journey become allergic to very basic querries asked on social networks and classes. They percieve that if a student is not ready to search out the basic information which is already available on commission's website, either he is a non-serious candidate or he may wants some instant magic knowledge pill from others. They also complain that some students always try to find shortcuts. Whenever they are given a task, instead of doing that job, they start consulting other mentors to test the knowledge of the first one. This behavior creates a complaining attitude and such aspirants plan to follow many, but infact they follow none, not even themselves.

Sometimes particular questions  are being put up by fake profiles which are just made to promote some institute or increase viewership. Such questions confuse a majority and turn them toward another activity. (Distortion)

Wary of this behavior many seniors have opted silence.

Anyone who has been through this rigorous journey wants an ethical treatment. Most of times part and pieces of information gathered by new aspirants make them inflated and they try to re-affirm their point of view without respecting other opinions. This goes strictly against the learning ethics. Obviously one has to be respectful and positive in order to gain something fruitful.

This antagonism goes both ways, the seniors make up their mind that they are bound to charge a heavy fee so that aspirants should feel the worth of knowledge given. On the other hand, aspirants fall into the network of commercial institutes.

When things turn commercial, there are only two drivers for that  i.e. profit and competition. They have to manage alot of students in single class, it becomes impossible for them to personally teach everyone. Any serious and dedicated candidate can still extract best out of these institutions and internet forums. I am not negating the importance of good teachers and institutions.

To me, most important thing needed during this journey is consistant motivation not the syllabus and materials. Strongest are those who can console themselves and can walk again after falling. But those who are even dependent for minor things would lack consistency to fall in between. A guide can provide you with the roadmap and final skillset required at the ultimate day. In the mean time, he or she can complicate things for you to make his commercial worth. Age of deception is all about seeing through all distortions while remaning focussed at your goal.

Turning towards the search for guidance, My advice would be simply take the decision by yourself. You have to take many decisions in this journey by your own. How can you say that consulting too many people would lead you to right choice?

For instance, If you are asking others for an optional subject. How can their interest and undertanding equate yours? Each one would reply by his own experience and intellectual level. You ultimately have to take your own decision. likewise read out the syllabus, see lectures and talks of people in your circle and opt someone. Someone who can give you time and attention and who can make you understand things better. Thats all!

Go with your heart but first make an overview of syllabus and contents. Furthermore, guidance does not need credentials or stamps. Some of your colleaques or seniors can be a best guide if he would pay more attention.Let your heart and interest decide this. So those who are true seekers their is no barrier for them, wherever they go.
